Join us for a celebration of culture, food, and community in the heart of Central Oregon! So Much Together is excited to partner with the Latino Community Association of Central Oregon and the High Desert Food and Farm Alliance for an afternoon full of stories, food, and conversation. All ages are welcome at this event, where we’ll connect through conversations and special activities and learn about the land and local food resources available in our region. We invite you to bring a copy of a recipe to share or be prepared to write down a recipe that is significant to you. If we receive enough recipe contributions, we will create a publication and mail it to those who participated.
This event is hosted by Latino Community Association of Central Oregon (LCA) and will take place at their office in Madras. LCA is a nonprofit organization that serves as an essential connecting point for our Latino immigrant community in Central Oregon. The celebration is designed in collaboration with the High Desert Food and Farm Alliance (HDFFA), a nonprofit organization that supports a healthy and thriving food and farm network in Central Oregon through education, collaboration, and inclusion.
