Kristin brings more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience to HDFFA, with a background in fundraising, communications, and community engagement. Most recently she served as Director of Development and Marketing at Friendship Shelter in Southern California, where she led successful fundraising campaigns and guided strategic communications. She began her career working on political campaigns in Iowa and has since worked across the country supporting organizations dedicated to strengthening communities.
Kristin and her family relocated to Bend in 2022 and love exploring Central Oregon’s beautiful trails and farmers markets with their rescue dog, Charlie. She’s excited to get to work to help further HDFFA’s mission and believes that everyone deserves good food.
