Cucumber Raita

Yield: About 1 pint | Prep time: 20 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 1 large cucumber

  • 2 Tbsp of mint, chopped

  • 1 small jalepeño, minced

  • 2 Tbsp basil, chopped

  • 1 cup plain yogurt

  • ½ tsp Garam Masala

  • Salt to taste

 

Instructions

  1. Cut the cucumber into small pieces, about ¼ of a dice size.

  2. Sprinkle with salt and let drain in a colander for 15 minutes

  3. While cucumbers drain, mix together all remaining ingredients.

  4. Add the cucumbers, then add salt to taste.

Sliced Radishes

Chopped scallions

Toasted Cumin Seeds
