Fresh Harvest Kits are free, ready-to-make meal kits designed to increase access to healthy, home-prepared food. Each kit includes farm-fresh vegetables purchased from a local farm, pantry staples like pasta, tuna, or beans, a seasoning packet, and a bilingual recipe card in English and Spanish to create a nutritious, delicious four-serving meal.
We partner with both community sites and Meals on Wheels routes to distribute to Central Oregonians experiencing food insecurity in Crook, Jefferson and Deschutes counties and on the Warm Springs Reservation.
Each week, Fresh Harvest Kits also reach specific populations through our partnerships with the Latino Community Association and the Council on Aging. Please contact these organizations to inquire about receiving the kits.
Fresh Harvest Kits reach homebound seniors on the following Meals on Wheels routes:
La Pine Meals on Wheels
Redmond Meals on Wheels
Madras Meals on Wheels
Sisters Meals on Wheels
