Become a Partner
HDFFA is founded on the belief that local food should be accessible to everyone, and that food connects us to each other. We work to strengthen the demand for and appreciation of local food across Central Oregon—and our partners are at the heart of this work.
When you become an HDFFA partner, you join a network of farms, ranches, and food businesses committed to building a more resilient regional food system. Your partnership supports programs that increase access to healthy, local food while giving your business meaningful visibility and connection to customers who value what you do.
The Central Oregon Local Food Guide
One of the biggest benefits of partnership is inclusion in the 15th Annual Central Oregon Local Food Guide—our most extensive marketing tool for connecting producers, restaurants, grocers, and consumers. This year's guide is getting a makeover and will be printed on high-quality, full-color glossy paper and distributed to more than 32,000 readers throughout Central Oregon via The Source Weekly and the Sisters Nugget, and at local farmers markets, and businesses.

Beyond the printed guide, partners receive year-round promotion through our online directory, newsletters, social media, events, and agricultural support programs.

Why does HDFFA have a partnership model?
HDFFA's partnership model strengthens Central Oregon's local food system by creating a network of farms, ranches, and food businesses that support—and benefit from—our work. Partner fees help fund our food access programs and local sourcing efforts, while partners receive visibility, marketing support, and resources that help them grow. It's a mutual investment: partners help build a healthier, more resilient regional food system, and HDFFA promotes the businesses that make it possible.
Does my business qualify for partnership?
HDFFA partners include Central Oregon farmers, ranchers, and food businesses who align with the values in our Partnership Pledge (see below). We also welcome nonprofits, agencies, and other businesses that support our local food and farm community and uphold these values. Not sure if your business is a fit? Email us at partnership@hdffa.org.
Why do farms and ranches receive more benefits?
Farmers and ranchers are at the core of our local food system, and much of HDFFA's funding—especially from state and federal grants—is specifically designated to support agricultural producers. This allows us to offer additional resources and programs for farms and ranches while keeping partner fees affordable for everyone.
Do you offer discounted partnership fees?
Yes! We offer scholarships and discounted fees to anyone who needs assistance—we want everyone to be included. Please reach out to Carrie at partnership@hdffa.org for more information.
When will the 2026 Central Oregon Local Food Guide be available?
The 15th Annual Local Food Guide will be printed and distributed in early May 2026 through The Source Weekly and The Sisters Nugget. The online directory will be updated as partners sign up throughout the year.
