▶️ New farmer mentorship program to bring more agriculture to High Desert
Central Oregon Daily News covered HDFFA’s Growing Together Mentorship Program on May 9th, highlighting the need to share knowledge and skills between aspiring more experienced agriculturalists as the next generation of producers emerges.
“We’ve seen empty shelves in the stores and it kind of makes you realize that even though there usually is food available that there are things that can happen in the world that can make that more difficult,” said David Kellner-Rode, the owner of Boundless Farmstead.
Applications are open for program participants now. Head over to the mentorship page to learn more or sign up here.
