I was a Home Ec major at Oregon State with an emphasis in foods and nutrition. (You can’t even be a Home Ec major anymore!) Food has been the focus of my life since. I’ve worked in food service, food processing, nutrition education and farming. I’m a retired OSU Extension SNAP Ed Nutrition Educator and until recently had a small lavender/vegetable farm involved with Farmer’s Markets in Prineville. In retirement, I’ve been involved with Crook County On The Move, a local health initiative.
