With a background in non-profit management and development, the focus of Carrie’s work has been through the lens of community based projects that highlight fostering new ideas, collaboration, and increased capacity for all involved. For eight years, she and her husband, Travis, spent their summers in Ontario. As an owner and operator of a remote fishing lodge in the Canadian wilderness, sharing good food is not only a good business practice but also nourishing to the soul. She is thrilled to continue her work with an organization that is fiercely committed to supporting local food systems. Forever saying yes to adventure, Carrie loves running, writing, and eating everything in-between.
