Carrie MackNon-Profit Management

With a background in non-profit management and development, the focus of Carrie’s professional work has been through the lens of community-based projects that highlight fostering new ideas, collaboration, and increased capacity for all involved. As a former staff member of HDFFA, Carrie was able to experience her work and community through the lens of food and food access. She believes the moments created around sharing food are such an important part of our collective story and that local food allows us to connect and experience the places and spaces we visit and call home in a more meaningful and personal way.

Carrie is also an elite-level distance runner and a member of Littlewing Athletics – an all-women’s running club here in Bend. With the goal of maximally supporting each other in achieving their running potential, while also fostering self-growth, Carrie recently qualified for the 2024 US Olympic Marathon Trials. She also recently served on the Bend Central District visionary board and continues to be a steward for our community’s vision for the future.

Forever saying yes to adventure, Carrie loves running far and fast, writing, and eating everything in between.
