High Desert Educational Agricultural Tours (EATs)

HDFFA partnered with farmers, ranchers and businesses in Jefferson County to create the High Desert Educational Agriculture Tours.  EATs was a series of 3-5 farm tours held during the summer months.  Participants learned about a variety of agricultural productions from a diverse and dedicated group of farmers and community members. With support from HDFFA, farm and agriculture business leaders in Jefferson County developed the themes, engaged participants, and organized the tours.  Jefferson County EATS has not been in operation since 2017.
