Intro to Soils Class

Beginning Farmers: if you’re curious about soil science and how it relates to crop production, consider joining OSU Extension Agronomist Clare Sullivan for this introductory soils class. This class will be attended by Rogue Farm Corps Interns, but it is open to the public.
During this class you will learn:
- What is soil and how it is formed
- Why and how to take soil samples, and what to do with the test results
- Strategies to manage your soil for increased soil fertility and sustainable crop production
