Dirt Day Soilebration Event

SunLife Farms, in conjunction with The USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Oregon, will be hosting the inaugural “Dirt Day” on Saturday, August 13th, from 10am-3:30pm.
This will be an opportunity for visitors to learn about soil, one of farming’s most critical natural resources. The event will host speakers and presentations from NRCS and other community organizations, including the NRCS’s Soil Health Demonstration Trailer.
SunLife Farms’ gathering location for this premiere outdoor event is a two-plus-acre pine grove on the farm, transformed into an educational, science-packed festival in honor of the amazing soil microbiome. On Dirt Day, Bootah’s, the farm’s concessions, will provide standard offerings of ice cream, shakes and SunFreezes, along with food and other drinks.
