2023 Local Food Producer/Buyer Mixer

Come with a pitch, leave with a connection with a local market, chef, or value-added product.

Join the High Desert Food & Farm Alliance on Monday, April 10th from 2-4pm at The Barn in Sisters. This is an opportunity for chefs and buyers to learn about all the local ingredients available in Central Oregon and for farmers and ranchers to showcase their unique product offerings.

All attendees will receive a free drink token, and food will be provided by Boone Dog Pizza.

The event will be separated into two parts:

1. Speed Networking(2-3pm): Farmers and ranchers will be set up at tables around the room with price sheets and pictures of their products. Chefs and buyers will move throughout the room in five minute intervals and have an opportunity to speak one-on-one with producers about their business, products, logistics, and more.
2. Casual Conversation and Mixing(3-4pm): After an hour, farmers and ranchers are welcome to move about the room and interact with chefs, buyers, and fellow producers.

Space is limited and we encourage attendees to register early. Registration will close on April 5th. After registration, you will receive information via email with tips and tricks to prepare for the event.

Farmers and ranchers planning to attend are encouraged to participate in a preparation webinar taught by Sydney DeLuna, Value Chain Coordinator, to practice their elevator pitches and learn best practices and expectations when selling wholesale. This event will be held on Monday, April 3rd, from 2-3pm. A registration link and information packet will be sent upon sign-up to the mixer.
